1 Corinthians 11:11-16
Legacy Standard Bible
11 Nevertheless, in the Lord, neither is woman [a]independent of man, nor is man [b]independent of woman. 12 For as the woman [c]originates from the man, so also the man has his birth through the woman, but (A)all things [d]originate (B)from God. 13 (C)Judge [e]for yourselves: is it proper for a woman to pray to God with her head uncovered? 14 Does not even nature itself teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a dishonor to him, 15 but if a woman has long hair, it is a glory to her? For her hair is given to her for a covering. 16 But if one is inclined to be contentious, (D)we have no [f]other practice, nor have (E)the churches of God.

English Standard Version
11 Nevertheless, (A)in the Lord woman is not independent of man nor man of woman; 12 for as woman was made from man, so man is now born of woman. And (B)all things are from God. 13 Judge for yourselves: is it proper for a wife to pray to God with her head uncovered? 14 Does not nature itself teach you that if a man wears long hair it is a disgrace for him, 15 but if a woman has long hair, it is her glory? For her hair is given to her for a covering. 16 (C)If anyone is inclined to be contentious, we have no such practice, nor do (D)the churches of God.
