1 Corinthians 11:11-16
Christian Standard Bible
11 In the Lord, however, woman is not independent of man, and man is not independent of woman. 12 For just as woman came from man, so man comes through woman, and all things come from God.(A)
13 Judge(B) for yourselves: Is it proper for a woman to pray to God with her head uncovered? 14 Does not even nature itself teach(C) you that if a man has long hair it is a disgrace(D) to him, 15 but that if a woman has long hair, it is her glory?(E) For her hair is given to her[a] as a covering. 16 If anyone wants to argue about this, we have no other[b] custom, nor do the churches of God.

1 Corinthians 11:11-16
International Standard Version
11 In the Lord, however, woman is not independent of man, nor is man of woman. 12 For as woman came from man, so man comes through woman. But everything comes from God. 13 Decide for yourselves: Is it proper for a woman to pray to God with her head uncovered?[a] 14 Nature itself teaches you neither that it is disgraceful for a man to have long[b] hair 15 nor that hair is a woman’s glory, since hair is given as a substitute for coverings. 16 But if anyone wants to argue about this, we do not have any custom like this, nor do any of God’s churches.
