1 Corinthians 10:11-13
World English Bible
11 Now all these things happened to them by way of example, and they were written for our admonition, on whom the ends of the ages have come. 12 Therefore let him who thinks he stands be careful that he doesn’t fall.
13 No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.

New International Version
11 These things happened to them as examples(A) and were written down as warnings for us,(B) on whom the culmination of the ages has come.(C) 12 So, if you think you are standing firm,(D) be careful that you don’t fall! 13 No temptation[a] has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful;(E) he will not let you be tempted[b] beyond what you can bear.(F) But when you are tempted,[c] he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.
