1 Corinthians 10:11-13
New International Version
11 These things happened to them as examples(A) and were written down as warnings for us,(B) on whom the culmination of the ages has come.(C) 12 So, if you think you are standing firm,(D) be careful that you don’t fall! 13 No temptation[a] has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful;(E) he will not let you be tempted[b] beyond what you can bear.(F) But when you are tempted,[c] he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.

11 These things happened to them as an example and were written as a warning for us to whom the end of time has come. 12 So those who think they are standing need to watch out or else they may fall. 13 No temptation has seized you that isn’t common for people. But God is faithful. He won’t allow you to be tempted beyond your abilities. Instead, with the temptation, God will also supply a way out so that you will be able to endure it.
