15 Now I urge you, brothers and sisters: you know the (A)household of Stephanas, that [a]they are the (B)first fruits of (C)Achaia, and that they have devoted themselves to (D)ministry to (E)the [b]saints; 16 I urge that (F)you also be subject to such as these and to everyone who helps in the work and labors. 17 I rejoice over the [c](G)coming of Stephanas, Fortunatus, and Achaicus, because they have [d]supplied (H)what was lacking on your part. 18 For they (I)have refreshed my spirit and yours. Therefore (J)acknowledge such men.

15 Now I beseech you, brethren (ye know the house of Stephanas, that it is the first-fruits of Achaia, and that they have set themselves to minister unto the saints), 16 that ye also be in subjection unto such, and to every one that helpeth in the work and laboreth. 17 And I rejoice at the [a]coming of Stephanas and Fortunatus and Achaicus: for that which was lacking on your part they supplied. 18 For they refreshed my spirit and yours: acknowledge ye therefore them that are such.

15 You know that the household of Stephanas(A) were the first converts(B) in Achaia,(C) and they have devoted themselves to the service(D) of the Lord’s people.(E) I urge you, brothers and sisters, 16 to submit(F) to such people and to everyone who joins in the work and labors at it. 17 I was glad when Stephanas, Fortunatus and Achaicus arrived, because they have supplied what was lacking from you.(G) 18 For they refreshed(H) my spirit and yours also. Such men deserve recognition.(I)
