1 Corinthians 16:1-4
Jubilee Bible 2000
16 ¶ Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given orders to the congregations {Gr. ekklesia – called out ones} of Galatia, do ye likewise.
2 Each first sabbath let each one of you set aside in store, as God has prospered him, that there be no collections when I come.
3 And when I come, whomever ye shall approve by your letters, them will I send to bring your liberality unto Jerusalem.
4 And if it is appropriate that I go also, they shall go with me.

The Collection for the Lord’s People
16 Now about the collection(A) for the Lord’s people:(B) Do what I told the Galatian(C) churches to do. 2 On the first day of every week,(D) each one of you should set aside a sum of money in keeping with your income, saving it up, so that when I come no collections will have to be made.(E) 3 Then, when I arrive, I will give letters of introduction to the men you approve(F) and send them with your gift to Jerusalem. 4 If it seems advisable for me to go also, they will accompany me.
