1 Corinthians 10:11-13
New American Standard Bible
11 Now these things happened to them as an (A)example, and (B)they were written for our instruction, upon whom (C)the ends of the ages have come. 12 Therefore let the one who (D)thinks he stands watch out that he does not fall. 13 No temptation has overtaken you except something common to mankind; and (E)God is faithful, [a]so He will not allow you to be (F)tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it.

11 Now these things happened unto them [a]by way of example; and they were written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the ages are come. 12 Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall. 13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as man can bear: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation make also the way of escape, that ye may be able to endure it.
