23 Denn Folgendes habe ich vom Herrn empfangen und euch überliefert:
In der Nacht, in der unser Herr Jesus verraten wurde, nahm er ein Brot, 24 dankte Gott dafür, brach es in Stücke und sprach: »Das ist mein Leib, der für euch hingegeben wird. Feiert dieses Mahl immer wieder und denkt daran, was ich für euch getan habe, sooft ihr dieses Brot esst!«
25 Ebenso nahm er nach dem Essen den Kelch mit Wein, reichte ihn seinen Jüngern und sprach: »Dieser Kelch ist der neue Bund zwischen Gott und euch, der durch mein Blut besiegelt wird. Sooft ihr aus diesem Kelch trinkt, denkt an mich und an das, was ich für euch getan habe!«

23 For I received from the Lord(A) what I also passed on to you:(B) The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took bread, 24 and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, “This is my body,(C) which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.” 25 In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant(D) in my blood;(E) do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.”

25 After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, this cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.
