Sacrifices

21 On the next day (A)they [a]made sacrifices to the Lord and offered burnt offerings to the Lord, a thousand bulls, a thousand rams, and a thousand lambs, with their drink offerings and sacrifices in abundance for all Israel. 22 So they ate and drank that day before the Lord with great gladness.

Solomon Again Made King

And they made Solomon the son of David king (B)a second time, and they (C)anointed him as ruler for the Lord and Zadok as priest. 23 Then (D)Solomon sat on the throne of the Lord as king instead of his father David; and he prospered, and all Israel obeyed him. 24 And all the officials, the mighty men, and also all the sons of King David [b]pledged allegiance to King Solomon. 25 (E)The Lord highly honored Solomon in the sight of all Israel, and (F)bestowed on him royal majesty which had not been bestowed on any king before him in Israel.

Solomon is Anointed King(A)

They crowned David’s son Solomon king a second time and anointed him to serve[b] as Commander-in-Chief[c] to the Lord and Zadok to serve[d] as priest. 23 So Solomon sat on the throne of the Lord as king in the place of[e] his father David. He prospered, and all of Israel obeyed[f] him. 24 All of the officials, all of the valiant soldiers, and all of King David’s sons submitted to King Solomon’s control, 25 and the Lord exalted Solomon magnificently in the sight of all Israel, bestowing upon him royal majesty such as had not been given to any king in Israel before him.
