8 The sons of Ham were Cush, Mizraim, Put, and Canaan.
9 The sons of Cush were Seba, Havilah, Sabta, Raama, and Sabteca;
and the sons of Raama were Sheba and Dedan.
10 Cush [a]was the father of Nimrod; he began to be a mighty one on the earth.
11 (A)Mizraim was the father of the people of [b]Lud, Anam, Lehab, Naphtuh,
12 Pathrus, Casluh (from which came the [c]Philistines), and Caphtor.
13 Canaan was the father of Sidon, his firstborn, Heth,
14 and the [d](B)Jebusites, the Amorites, the Girgashites,
15 the Hivites, the Arkites, the Sinites,
16 the Arvadites, the Zemarites, and the Hamathites.

8 Ham’s descendants were Cush, Mizraim, Put, and Canaan.
9 Cush’s descendants were Seba, Havilah, Sabta, Raama, and Sabteca.
Raamah’s descendants were Sheba and Dedan.
10 Cush fathered Nimrod. He became the first powerful ruler on the earth.
11 Mitzraim fathered the Ludim, the Anamim, the Lehabim, the Naphtuhim, 12 the Pathrusim, the Casluhim (from whom the Philistines descended)[a], and the Caphtorim.
13 Canaan fathered Sidon his firstborn, as well as Heth, 14 and the Jebusites, the Amorites, the Girgashites, 15 the Hivites, the Archites, the Sinites, 16 the Arvadites, the Zemarites, and the Hamathites.
