⁸ Give praise^(A) to the Lord, proclaim his name;
    make known among the nations^(B) what he has done.

³⁴ Give thanks^(A) to the Lord, for he is good;^(B)
    his love endures forever.^(C)

⁷ The Lord is my strength^(A) and my shield;
    my heart trusts^(B) in him, and he helps me.
My heart leaps for joy,^(C)
    and with my song I praise him.^(D)

⁵ Why, my soul, are you downcast?^(A)
    Why so disturbed^(B) within me?
Put your hope in God,^(C)
    for I will yet praise^(D) him,
    my Savior^(E) and my God.^(F)

³⁰ I will praise God’s name in song^(A)
    and glorify him^(B) with thanksgiving.

³ For the Lord is the great God,^(H)
    the great King^(I) above all gods.^(J)
4 In his hand are the depths of the earth,^(K)
    and the mountain peaks belong to him.
⁵ The sea is his, for he made it,
    and his hands formed the dry land.^(L)

⁶ Come, let us bow down^(M) in worship,^(N)
    let us kneel^(O) before the Lord our Maker;^(P)

²⁹ He stilled the storm^(A) to a whisper;
    the waves^(B) of the sea^[a] were hushed.^(C)
30 They were glad when it grew calm,
    and he guided them^(D) to their desired haven.
³¹ Let them give thanks^(E) to the Lord for his unfailing love^(F)
    and his wonderful deeds^(G) for mankind.
³² Let them exalt^(H) him in the assembly^(I) of the people
    and praise him in the council of the elders.

⁴ Enter his gates with thanksgiving^(A)
    and his courts^(B) with praise;
    give thanks to him and praise his name.^(C)
