²⁰Rebuke publicly all those who commit sins, so that the rest may be afraid.

²⁰As for those who persist in sin, rebuke them in the presence of all, so that the rest also may stand in fear.^(A)

²⁰Rebuke before the whole assembly those leaders who continue sinning, as a warning to the others.

²⁰If anyone falls into sin, call that person on the carpet. Those who are inclined that way will know right off they can’t get by with it.
