1 Corinthians 13:2-5

New International Version

² If I have the gift of prophecy^(A) and can fathom all mysteries^(B) and all knowledge,^(C) and if I have a faith^(D) that can move mountains,^(E) but do not have love, I am nothing. ³ If I give all I possess to the poor^(F) and give over my body to hardship that I may boast,^[a](G) but do not have love, I gain nothing.

⁴ Love is patient,^(H) love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.^{(I) 5} It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking,^(J) it is not easily angered,^(K) it keeps no record of wrongs.^(L)
