⁴ who wants^(A) all people^(B) to be saved^(C) and to come to a knowledge of the truth.^(D)

⁹ The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise,^(A) as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient^(B) with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.^(C)

⁵ And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders ⁶ and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.’^(A)

³² But we had to celebrate and be glad, because this brother of yours was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’”^(A)
