4 nor to [a]pay attention to (A)myths and endless (B)genealogies, which give rise to useless (C)speculation rather than (D)advance [b]the plan of God, which is by faith, so I urge you now. 5 But the goal of our [c](E)instruction is love (F)from a pure heart, from a (G)good conscience, and from a sincere (H)faith. 6 Some people have strayed from these things and have turned aside to (I)fruitless discussion, 7 (J)wanting to be (K)teachers of the Law, even though they do not understand either what they are saying or the matters about which they make confident assertions.
8 But we know that (L)the Law is good, if one uses it lawfully,
