12 Die Diakone sollen jeder Mann einer Frau sein, ihren Kindern und ihrem Haus gut vorstehen;
13 denn wenn sie ihren Dienst gut versehen, erwerben sie sich selbst eine gute Stufe und viel Freimütigkeit im Glauben in Christus Jesus.

11 In the same way, the women[a] are to be worthy of respect, not malicious talkers(A) but temperate(B) and trustworthy in everything.
12 A deacon must be faithful to his wife(C) and must manage his children and his household well.(D) 13 Those who have served well gain an excellent standing and great assurance in their faith in Christ Jesus.
