2 Kailangan(A) na ang obispo ay walang kapintasan, asawa ng isang babae, mapagpigil, matino ang pag-iisip, kagalang-galang, mapagpatuloy ng panauhin, mahusay magturo,
3 hindi mahilig sa alak, hindi mapusok kundi mahinahon, hindi palaaway, at hindi maibigin sa salapi.
4 Dapat ay pinamamahalaan niyang mabuti ang kanyang sariling sambahayan, sinusupil ang kanyang mga anak, at may lubos na paggalang.
