11 Dar pe văduvele tinere să nu le primeşti, pentru că, atunci când le desparte pofta de Hristos, vor să se mărite din nou 12 şi se fac vinovate de faptul că îşi calcă credinţa dintâi. 13 Totodată(A) se deprind să umble fără nicio treabă din casă în casă; şi nu numai că sunt leneşe, dar sunt şi limbute şi iscoditoare şi vorbesc ce nu trebuie vorbit.

11 As for younger widows, do not put them on such a list. For when their sensual desires overcome their dedication to Christ, they want to marry. 12 Thus they bring judgment on themselves, because they have broken their first pledge. 13 Besides, they get into the habit of being idle and going about from house to house. And not only do they become idlers, but also busybodies(A) who talk nonsense,(B) saying things they ought not to.
