^19 (A)storing up for themselves a good foundation for the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.

¹² Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.

Lay Up Treasures in Heaven^(A)

^19 (B)“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; ^20 (C)but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. ²¹ For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

¹⁹ Nevertheless ^(A)the solid foundation of God stands, having this seal: “The Lord ^(B)knows those who are His,” and, “Let everyone who names the name of ^[a]Christ depart from iniquity.”

⁹ “And I say to you, ^(A)make friends for yourselves by unrighteous ^[a]mammon, that when ^[b]you fail, they may receive you into an everlasting home.

⁴ to an inheritance ^[a]incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, ^(A)reserved in heaven for you,

^14 (A)I press toward the goal for the prize of ^(B)the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

^17 (A)that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, ^(B)being rooted and grounded in love,

⁸ For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap ^(A)everlasting life. ⁹ And ^(B)let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap ^(C)if we do not lose heart.
