^7 (A)for which I was appointed a preacher and an apostle—I am speaking the truth ^[a]in Christ and not lying—^(B)a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth.

^11 (A)to which I was appointed a preacher, an apostle, and a teacher ^[a]of the Gentiles.

¹⁵ But the Lord said to him, “Go, for ^(A)he is a chosen vessel of Mine to bear My name before ^(B)Gentiles, ^(C)kings, and the ^(D)children^[a] of Israel.

Israel’s Rejection of Christ

9 I ^(A)tell the truth in Christ, I am not lying, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Spirit,

^7 (A)of which I became a minister ^(B)according to the gift of the grace of God given to me by ^(C)the effective working of His power.

Purpose of the Mystery

⁸ To me, ^(D)who am less than the least of all the saints, this grace was given, that I should preach among the Gentiles ^(E)the unsearchable riches of Christ,

¹⁶ that ^(A)I might be a minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the ^(B)offering ^[a]of the Gentiles might be acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.

The Whole Duty of Man

⁹ And moreover, because the Preacher was wise, he still taught the people knowledge; yes, he pondered and sought out and ^(B)set^[a] in order many proverbs. ¹⁰ The Preacher sought to find ^[b]acceptable words; and what was written was upright—words of truth.

¹¹ according to the glorious gospel of the ^(A)blessed God which was ^(B)committed to my trust.

Glory to God for His Grace^(C)

¹² And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord who has ^(D)enabled me, ^(E)because He counted me faithful, ^(F)putting me into the ministry,

⁹ and when James, ^[a]Cephas, and John, who seemed to be ^(A)pillars, perceived ^(B)the grace that had been given to me, they gave me and Barnabas the right hand of fellowship, ^(C)that we should go to the Gentiles and they to the circumcised.
