1 Thessalonians 5:7-11

⁷ For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who are drunk, ^(A)get drunk at night. ⁸ But since ^(B)we are of the day, let’s ^(C)be ^[a]sober, having put on the ^(D)breastplate of ^(E)faith and love, and as a ^(F)helmet, the ^(G)hope of salvation. ⁹ For God has not destined us for ^(H)wrath, but for ^(I)obtaining salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, ^10 (J)who died for us, so that whether we are awake or asleep, we will live together with Him. ¹¹ Therefore, ^[b]encourage one another and ^(K)build one another up, just as you also are doing.
