^3 (A)I thank God ^(B)whom I serve, as did my ancestors, ^(C)with a clear conscience, as I remember you ^(D)constantly in my prayers night and day.

¹¹ Now may ^(A)our God and Father himself, and our Lord Jesus, ^(B)direct our way to you,

Paul's Longing to See Them Again

¹⁷ But since we were torn away from you, brothers, for a short time, ^(A)in person not in heart, we endeavored the more eagerly and with great desire ^(B)to see you face to face, ¹⁸ because we wanted to come to you—I, Paul, again and again—but Satan ^(C)hindered us.

⁹ For we are glad when ^(A)we are weak and you are strong. Your ^(B)restoration is what we pray for.

²⁴ Not that we ^(A)lord it over your faith, but we work with you for your joy, for you stand firm ^(B)in your faith.

¹⁰ always in my prayers, asking that somehow ^(A)by God's will I may now at last succeed in coming to you. ¹¹ For ^(B)I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to strengthen you— ¹² that is, that we may be mutually encouraged ^(C)by each other's faith, both yours and mine.

¹¹ To this end we ^(A)always pray for you, that our God may ^(B)make you worthy of his calling and may fulfill every resolve for good and every ^(C)work of faith by his power,

^12 (A)Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ Jesus, greets you, always ^(B)struggling on your behalf in his prayers, that you may stand ^(C)mature and fully assured in all the will of God.
