The Thessalonians' Faith and Example

^2 (A)We give thanks to God always for all of you, constantly^{[a] (B)}mentioning you in our prayers, ³ remembering before ^(C)our God and Father ^(D)your work of faith and labor of ^(E)love and ^(F)steadfastness of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.

⁶ And ^(A)you became imitators of us ^(B)and of the Lord, for ^(C)you received the word in much affliction, ^(D)with the ^(E)joy of the Holy Spirit,
