¹⁰ Night and day we pray^(A) most earnestly that we may see you again^(B) and supply what is lacking in your faith.

Thanksgiving

³ I thank God,^(A) whom I serve, as my ancestors did, with a clear conscience,^(B) as night and day I constantly remember you in my prayers.^(C)

¹¹ Now may our God and Father^(A) himself and our Lord Jesus clear the way for us to come to you.

Paul’s Longing to See the Thessalonians

¹⁷ But, brothers and sisters, when we were orphaned by being separated from you for a short time (in person, not in thought),^(A) out of our intense longing we made every effort to see you.^{(B) 18} For we wanted to come to you—certainly I, Paul, did, again and again—but Satan^(C) blocked our way.^(D)

⁹ We are glad whenever we are weak^(A) but you are strong;^(B) and our prayer is that you may be fully restored.^(C)

²⁴ Not that we lord it over^(A) your faith, but we work with you for your joy, because it is by faith you stand firm.^(B)

¹⁰ in my prayers at all times;^(A) and I pray that now at last by God’s will^(B) the way may be opened for me to come to you.^(C)

¹¹ I long to see you^(D) so that I may impart to you some spiritual gift^(E) to make you strong— ¹² that is, that you and I may be mutually encouraged by each other’s faith.

¹¹ With this in mind, we constantly pray for you,^(A) that our God may make you worthy^(B) of his calling,^(C) and that by his power he may bring to fruition your every desire for goodness^(D) and your every deed prompted by faith.^(E)

¹² Epaphras,^(A) who is one of you^(B) and a servant of Christ Jesus, sends greetings. He is always wrestling in prayer for you,^(C) that you may stand firm in all the will of God, mature^(D) and fully assured.
