International Standard Version
2 he had a son named Saul, who was a choice and handsome[a] young man. There was no one among the Israelis as handsome as he, and he was a head taller[b] than any of the other people.
3 The donkeys belonging to Kish, Saul’s father, were lost, and Kish told his son Saul, “Take one of the young men with you, get up, and go look for the donkeys.” 4 He went through the hill country of Ephraim and through the region of Shalishah, but they did not find them. Then they went through the region of Shaalim, but they were not there. They also went through the territory of the descendants of Benjamin, but they did not find them.

New International Version
2 Kish had a son named Saul, as handsome(A) a young man as could be found(B) anywhere in Israel, and he was a head taller(C) than anyone else.
3 Now the donkeys(D) belonging to Saul’s father Kish were lost, and Kish said to his son Saul, “Take one of the servants with you and go and look for the donkeys.” 4 So he passed through the hill(E) country of Ephraim and through the area around Shalisha,(F) but they did not find them. They went on into the district of Shaalim, but the donkeys(G) were not there. Then he passed through the territory of Benjamin, but they did not find them.
