1 Samuel 9:2-4

2 He had a son named Saul, an impressive young man.(A) There was no one more impressive among the Israelites than he. He stood a head taller than anyone else.[a](B)
3 One day the donkeys of Saul’s father Kish wandered off. Kish said to his son Saul, “Take one of the servants with you and go look for the donkeys.” 4 Saul and his servant went through the hill country of Ephraim(C) and then through the region of Shalishah,(D) but they didn’t find them. They went through the region of Shaalim(E)—nothing. Then they went through the Benjaminite region but still didn’t find them.

New International Version
2 Kish had a son named Saul, as handsome(A) a young man as could be found(B) anywhere in Israel, and he was a head taller(C) than anyone else.
3 Now the donkeys(D) belonging to Saul’s father Kish were lost, and Kish said to his son Saul, “Take one of the servants with you and go and look for the donkeys.” 4 So he passed through the hill(E) country of Ephraim and through the area around Shalisha,(F) but they did not find them. They went on into the district of Shaalim, but the donkeys(G) were not there. Then he passed through the territory of Benjamin, but they did not find them.

2 And he had a son, whose name was Saul, a choice young man, and a goodly: and there was not among the children of Israel a goodlier person than he: from his shoulders and upward he was higher than any of the people.
3 And the asses of Kish Saul's father were lost. And Kish said to Saul his son, Take now one of the servants with thee, and arise, go seek the asses.
4 And he passed through mount Ephraim, and passed through the land of Shalisha, but they found them not: then they passed through the land of Shalim, and there they were not: and he passed through the land of the Benjamites, but they found them not.
