1 Samuel 6:3-5
New American Standard Bible
3 And they said, “If you are going to send the ark of the God of Israel away, (A)do not send it empty; but you shall certainly (B)return to Him a guilt offering. Then you will be healed, and it will be revealed to you why His hand does not leave you.” 4 Then they said, “What is to be the guilt offering that we shall return to Him?” And they said, “Five gold (C)tumors and five gold mice (D)corresponding to the number of the governors of the Philistines, since one plague was on all of [a]you and on your governors. 5 So you shall make likenesses of your tumors and likenesses of your mice that are ruining the land, and (E)you shall give glory to the God of Israel; perhaps (F)He will lighten His hand from you, (G)your gods, and your land.

1 Samuel 6:3-5
New International Version
3 They answered, “If you return the ark of the god of Israel, do not send it back to him without a gift;(A) by all means send a guilt offering(B) to him. Then you will be healed, and you will know why his hand(C) has not been lifted from you.”
4 The Philistines asked, “What guilt offering should we send to him?”
They replied, “Five gold tumors and five gold rats, according to the number(D) of the Philistine rulers, because the same plague(E) has struck both you and your rulers. 5 Make models of the tumors(F) and of the rats that are destroying the country, and give glory(G) to Israel’s god. Perhaps he will lift his hand from you and your gods and your land.
