6 “O que é que se passa?”, perguntaram os filisteus. “Para que foi aquele grito no campo dos hebreus?”
Quando souberam que a arca do Senhor tinha chegado ali, 7 entraram em pânico. “Um deus[a] veio para o campo deles!”, gritavam. “Ai de nós, pois nunca enfrentámos uma situação destas! 8 Quem é que nos vai salvar destes poderosos deuses de Israel? São os mesmos que destruíram o Egito com pragas, quando Israel lá morava.

6 Hearing the uproar, the Philistines asked, “What’s all this shouting in the Hebrew(A) camp?”
When they learned that the ark of the Lord had come into the camp, 7 the Philistines were afraid.(B) “A god has[a] come into the camp,” they said. “Oh no! Nothing like this has happened before. 8 We’re doomed! Who will deliver us from the hand of these mighty gods? They are the gods who struck(C) the Egyptians with all kinds of plagues(D) in the wilderness.
