27 Now let this blessing, which your maidservant has brought to my lord, be given to the young men who are accompanying my lord. 28 Please, forgive the trespass of your maidservant. For Adonai will certainly make an enduring house for my lord[a], because my lord is fighting the battles of Adonai. So let no wrongdoing be found in you all your days. 29 If anyone rises to pursue you and seek your life, then let my lord’s life be bound up in the bundle of the living—with Adonai your God. But let the soul of your enemies be hurled away as from the hollow of a sling.

28 “Please forgive(B) your servant’s presumption. The Lord your God will certainly make a lasting(C) dynasty for my lord, because you fight the Lord’s battles,(D) and no wrongdoing(E) will be found in you as long as you live. 29 Even though someone is pursuing you to take your life,(F) the life of my lord will be bound securely in the bundle of the living by the Lord your God, but the lives of your enemies he will hurl(G) away as from the pocket of a sling.(H)
