³⁵ I will raise up for myself a faithful priest,^(A) who will do according to what is in my heart and mind. I will firmly establish his priestly house, and they will minister before my anointed^(B) one always.

⁴⁶ and the room facing north^(A) is for the priests who guard the altar.^(B) These are the sons of Zadok,^(C) who are the only Levites who may draw near to the Lord to minister before him.^(D)”

¹⁹ You are to give a young bull^(A) as a sin offering^[a] to the Levitical priests of the family of Zadok,^(B) who come near^(C) to minister before me, declares the Sovereign Lord.

¹⁵ “‘But the Levitical priests, who are descendants of Zadok^(A) and who guarded my sanctuary when the Israelites went astray from me, are to come near to minister before me; they are to stand before me to offer sacrifices of fat^(B) and blood, declares the Sovereign Lord.^(C)

¹¹ This will be for the consecrated priests, the Zadokites,^(A) who were faithful in serving me^(B) and did not go astray as the Levites did when the Israelites went astray.^(C)
