⁵ and wore a bronze helmet and bronze scale armour that weighed fifty-seven kilograms.^{[a] 6} There was bronze armour on his shins, and a bronze javelin^(A) was slung between his shoulders. ⁷ His spear shaft^(B) was like a weaver’s beam, and the iron point of his spear weighed seven kilograms.^[b] In addition, a shield-bearer^(C) was walking in front of him.
