⁴⁵ But the men said to Saul, “Should Jonathan die—he who has brought about this great deliverance in Israel? Never! As surely as the Lord lives, not a hair^(A) of his head will fall to the ground, for he did this today with God’s help.” So the men rescued^(B) Jonathan, and he was not put to death.

¹¹ She said, “Then let the king invoke the Lord his God to prevent the avenger^(A) of blood from adding to the destruction, so that my son will not be destroyed.”

“As surely as the Lord lives,” he said, “not one hair^(B) of your son’s head will fall to the ground.^(C)”

⁵² Solomon replied, “If he shows himself to be worthy, not a hair^(A) of his head will fall to the ground; but if evil is found in him, he will die.”

¹⁸ But not a hair of your head will perish.^(A)

³⁰ And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered.^(A)
