1 Samuel 14:21-23
New International Version
21 Those Hebrews who had previously been with the Philistines and had gone up with them to their camp went(A) over to the Israelites who were with Saul and Jonathan. 22 When all the Israelites who had hidden(B) in the hill country of Ephraim heard that the Philistines were on the run, they joined the battle in hot pursuit. 23 So on that day the Lord saved(C) Israel, and the battle moved on beyond Beth Aven.(D)

21 Os hebreus que antes tinham se unido aos filisteus agora se uniram aos israelitas que estavam com Saul e Jônatas. 22 Os israelitas que estavam escondidos na terra de Efraim ouviram que os filisteus estavam escapando, e então eles também se uniram à batalha e começaram a perseguir os filisteus. 23 Assim o SENHOR salvou os israelitas naquele dia. A batalha se estendeu mais além de Bete-Avém. Todo o exército estava com Saul, que agora tinha por volta de 10.000 soldados. A batalha se estendeu em cada cidade da terra de Efraim.[a]

21 Moreover the Hebrews who were with the Philistines before that time, who went up with them into the camp from the surrounding country, they also joined the Israelites who were with Saul and Jonathan. 22 Likewise all the men of Israel who (A)had hidden in the mountains of Ephraim, when they heard that the Philistines fled, they also followed hard after them in the battle. 23 (B)So the Lord saved Israel that day, and the battle shifted (C)to Beth Aven.
