1 Samuel 13:7-9
New English Translation
7 Some of the Hebrews crossed over the Jordan River[a] to the land of Gad and Gilead. But Saul stayed at Gilgal; the entire army that was with him was terrified. 8 He waited for seven days, the time period indicated by Samuel.[b] But Samuel did not come to Gilgal, and the army began to abandon Saul.[c]
9 So Saul said, “Bring me the burnt offering and the peace offerings.” Then he offered a burnt offering.

New International Version
7 Some Hebrews even crossed the Jordan to the land of Gad(A) and Gilead.
Saul remained at Gilgal, and all the troops with him were quaking(B) with fear. 8 He waited seven(C) days, the time set by Samuel; but Samuel did not come to Gilgal, and Saul’s men began to scatter. 9 So he said, “Bring me the burnt offering and the fellowship offerings.” And Saul offered(D) up the burnt offering.
