²⁴ So the cook took up ^(A)the leg and what was on it and set them before Saul. And Samuel said, “See, what was kept is set before you. Eat, because it was kept for you until the hour appointed, that you might eat with the guests.”^[a]

So Saul ate with Samuel that day.

³² And ^(A)the right thigh you shall give to the priest as a contribution from the sacrifice of your peace offerings. ³³ Whoever among the sons of Aaron offers the blood of the peace offerings and the fat shall have the right thigh for a portion.

²⁷ And you shall consecrate the ^(A)breast of the wave offering that is waved and the ^(B)thigh of the priests' portion that is contributed from the ram of ^(C)ordination, from what was Aaron's and his sons'.

²² “You shall also take the fat from the ram and the fat tail and the ^(A)fat that covers the entrails, and the long lobe of the liver and the two kidneys with the fat that is on them, and the right thigh (for it is a ram of ^(B)ordination),

¹⁸ But their flesh shall be yours, as ^(A)the breast that is waved and as the right thigh are yours.
