⁶ Why then do you harden your hearts ^(A)as the Egyptians and Pharaoh hardened their hearts? When He did mighty things among them, ^(B)did they not let the people go, that they might depart?

¹⁷ And I indeed will ^(A)harden the hearts of the Egyptians, and they shall follow them. So I will ^(B)gain honor over Pharaoh and over all his army, his chariots, and his horsemen.

¹⁵ But when Pharaoh saw that there was ^(A)relief, ^(B)he hardened his heart and did not heed them, as the Lord had said.

¹³ And Pharaoh’s heart grew hard, and he did not heed them, as the Lord had said.

³⁴ And when Pharaoh saw that the rain, the hail, and the thunder had ceased, he sinned yet more; and he hardened his heart, he and his servants.

¹³ but ^[a]exhort one another daily, while it is called “Today,” lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.

⁵ But in accordance with your hardness and your ^[a]impenitent heart ^(A)you are ^[b]treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God,
