^21 (A)A woman, when she is in labor, has sorrow because her hour has come; but as soon as she has given birth to the child, she no longer remembers the anguish, for joy that a human being has been born into the world.

¹⁷ Now it came to pass, when she was in hard labor, that the midwife said to her, “Do not fear; ^(A)you will have this son also.” ¹⁸ And so it was, as her soul was departing (for she died), that she called his name ^[a]Ben-Oni; but his father called him ^[b]Benjamin.
