¹⁵ Eli was ninety-eight years old, and ^(A)his eyes were so ^[a]dim that he could not see.

² And it came to pass at that time, while Eli was lying down in his place, and when his eyes had begun to grow ^(A)so dim that he could not see,

⁴ And Jeroboam’s wife did so; she arose ^(A)and went to Shiloh, and came to the house of Ahijah. But Ahijah could not see, for his eyes were ^[a]glazed by reason of his age.
