⁴ that the Lord called Samuel. And he answered, “Here I am!”

⁶ And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God ^(A)who works ^[a]all in all. ⁷ But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: ⁸ for to one is given ^(B)the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another ^(C)the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, ^9 (D)to another faith by the same Spirit, to another ^(E)gifts of healings by ^[b]the same Spirit, ^10 (F)to another the working of miracles, to another ^(G)prophecy, to another ^(H)discerning of spirits, to another ^(I)different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. ¹¹ But one and the same Spirit works all these things, ^(J)distributing to each one individually ^(K)as He wills.

⁸ Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying:

Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.”

⁴ So when the Lord saw that he turned aside to look, God called ^(A)to him from the midst of the bush and said, “Moses, Moses!”

And he said, “Here I am.”

Abraham’s Faith Confirmed^(A)

22 Now it came to pass after these things that ^(B)God tested Abraham, and said to him, “Abraham!”

And he said, “Here I am.”

¹⁵ But when it pleased God, ^(A)who separated me from my mother’s womb and called me through His grace, ^16 (B)to reveal His Son in me, that ^(C)I might preach Him among the Gentiles, I did not immediately confer with ^(D)flesh and blood,

²⁸ And ^(A)God has appointed these in the church: first ^(B)apostles, second ^(C)prophets, third teachers, after that ^(D)miracles, then ^(E)gifts of healings, ^(F)helps, ^(G)administrations, varieties of tongues.

⁴ Then he fell to the ground, and heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, ^(A)why are you persecuting Me?”
