¹⁹ As Samuel grew up, the Lord was with him, and everything Samuel said proved to be reliable.

⁶ But the servant said, “I’ve just thought of something! There is a man of God who lives here in this town. He is held in high honor by all the people because everything he says comes true. Let’s go find him. Perhaps he can tell us which way to go.”

² The Lord was with Joseph, so he succeeded in everything he did as he served in the home of his Egyptian master.

⁵⁶ “Praise the Lord who has given rest to his people Israel, just as he promised. Not one word has failed of all the wonderful promises he gave through his servant Moses.

⁵² Jesus grew in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and all the people.

²² May the Lord be with your spirit. And may his grace be with all of you.

²¹ And the Lord blessed Hannah, and she conceived and gave birth to three sons and two daughters. Meanwhile, Samuel grew up in the presence of the Lord.

Paul’s Final Greetings

¹¹ Dear brothers and sisters,^[a] I close my letter with these last words: Be joyful. Grow to maturity. Encourage each other. Live in harmony and peace. Then the God of love and peace will be with you.

⁴⁰ There the child grew up healthy and strong. He was filled with wisdom, and God’s favor was on him.

^14 [a]May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
