¹⁷ And he said, “What is the word that the Lord spoke to you? Please do not hide it from me. ^(A)God do so to you, and more also, if you hide anything from me of all the things that He said to you.”

³⁵ And when all the people came ^(A)to persuade David to eat food while it was still day, David took an oath, saying, ^(B)“God do so to me, and more also, if I taste bread or anything else ^(C)till the sun goes down!”

⁶³ But ^(A)Jesus kept silent. And the high priest answered and said to Him, ^(B)“I put You under oath by the living God: Tell us if You are the Christ, the Son of God!”

Daniel Explains the Second Dream

¹⁶ So the king said to him, “How many times shall I make you swear that you tell me nothing but the truth in the name of the Lord?”
