³ Then the princes of the Philistines said, “What are these Hebrews doing here?”

And Achish said to the princes of the Philistines, “Is this not David, the servant of Saul king of Israel, who has been with me ^(A)these days, or these years? And to this day I have ^(B)found no fault in him since he defected to me.”

⁵ Then these men said, “We shall not find any charge against this Daniel unless we find it against him concerning the law of his God.”

⁷ Now ^[a]the time that David ^(A)dwelt in the country of the Philistines was one full year and four months.

^16 (A)having a good conscience, that when they defame you as evildoers, those who revile your good conduct in Christ may be ashamed.

^17 (A)Repay no one evil for evil. ^(B)Have^[a] regard for good things in the sight of all men.

^6 (A)Therefore, when the chief priests and officers saw Him, they cried out, saying, “Crucify Him, crucify Him!”

Pilate said to them, “You take Him and crucify Him, for I find no fault in Him.”

²⁸ Please forgive the trespass of your maidservant. For ^(A)the Lord will certainly make for my lord an enduring house, because my lord ^(B)fights the battles of the Lord, ^(C)and evil is not found in you throughout your days.
