⁶ He said to his men, ^(A)“The Lord forbid that I should do this thing to my lord, the Lord's anointed, to put out my hand against him, seeing he is ^(B)the Lord's anointed.”

^12 (A)May the Lord judge between me and you, may the Lord avenge me against you, but my hand shall not be against you.

¹⁶ And David said to him, ^(A)“Your blood be on your head, for your own mouth has testified against you, saying, ‘I have killed ^(B)the Lord's anointed.’”

¹⁴ David said to him, “How is it you were not ^(A)afraid to put out your hand to destroy ^(B)the Lord's anointed?”
