³ Now Esther spoke again to the king, fell down at his feet, and implored him with tears to counteract the evil of Haman the Agagite, and the scheme which he had devised against the Jews.

³⁷ So she went in, fell at his feet, and bowed to the ground; then she ^(A)picked up her son and went out.

⁹ And the woman of Tekoa said to the king, “My lord, O king, let ^(A)the ^[a]iniquity be on me and on my father’s house, ^(B)and the king and his throne be guiltless.”

²⁸ Please forgive the trespass of your maidservant. For ^(A)the Lord will certainly make for my lord an enduring house, because my lord ^(B)fights the battles of the Lord, ^(C)and evil is not found in you throughout your days.

¹⁸ But if he has wronged you or owes anything, put that on my account. ¹⁹ I, Paul, am writing with my own ^(A)hand. I will repay—not to mention to you that you owe me even your own self besides.

²⁹ So his fellow servant fell down ^[a]at his feet and begged him, saying, ‘Have patience with me, and I will pay you ^[b]all.’

¹² Therefore the woman said, “Please, let your maidservant speak another word to my lord the king.”

And he said, “Say on.”

³³ Now therefore, please ^(A)let your servant remain instead of the lad as a slave to my lord, and let the lad go up with his brothers. ³⁴ For how shall I go up to my father if the lad is not with me, lest perhaps I see the evil that would ^[a]come upon my father?”
