¹⁶ When David had finished speaking these words to Saul, Saul said, “Is this your voice, my son David?” Saul lifted up his voice and wept.^(A)

¹⁷ Saul recognized David’s voice and said, “Is this your voice, my son David?” David said, “It is my voice, my lord, O king.”^(A)

¹⁰ But they could not withstand the wisdom and the Spirit^[a] with which he spoke.^(A)

¹⁵ for I will give you words^[a] and a wisdom that none of your opponents will be able to withstand or contradict.^(A)

⁴ But Esau ran to meet him and embraced him and fell on his neck and kissed him, and they wept.^(A)
