²³ So he went there to Naioth in Ramah. Then ^(A)the Spirit of God was upon him also, and he went on and prophesied until he came to Naioth in Ramah.

^10 (A)When they came there to the hill, there was ^(B)a group of prophets to meet him; then the Spirit of God came upon him, and he prophesied among them.

²⁰ Then ^(A)Saul sent messengers to take David. ^(B)And when they saw the group of prophets prophesying, and Samuel standing as leader over them, the Spirit of God came upon the messengers of Saul, and they also ^(C)prophesied.

² And though I have the gift of ^(A)prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, ^(B)so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.

⁵¹ Now this he did not say on his own authority; but being high priest that year he prophesied that Jesus would die for the nation,

²² Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we ^(A)not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’

The Lord Considers the Heart

² And Balaam raised his eyes, and saw Israel ^(A)encamped according to their tribes; and ^(B)the Spirit of God came upon him.

⁵ Then the Lord ^(A)put a word in Balaam’s mouth, and said, “Return to Balak, and thus you shall speak.”
