²³ So Saul went to Naioth at Ramah. But the Spirit of God came even on him, and he walked along prophesying^(A) until he came to Naioth.

¹⁰ When he and his servant arrived at Gibeah, a procession of prophets met him; the Spirit^(A) of God came powerfully upon him, and he joined in their prophesying.^(B)

²⁰ so he sent men to capture him. But when they saw a group of prophets^(A) prophesying, with Samuel standing there as their leader, the Spirit of God came on^(B) Saul’s men, and they also prophesied.^(C)

² If I have the gift of prophecy^(A) and can fathom all mysteries^(B) and all knowledge,^(C) and if I have a faith^(D) that can move mountains,^(E) but do not have love, I am nothing.

⁵¹ He did not say this on his own, but as high priest that year he prophesied that Jesus would die for the Jewish nation,

²² Many will say to me on that day,^(A) ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’^(B)

² When Balaam looked out and saw Israel encamped tribe by tribe, the Spirit of God came on him^(A)

⁵ The Lord put a word in Balaam’s mouth^(A) and said, “Go back to Balak and give him this word.”^(B)
