¹¹ And Saul ^(A)cast the spear, for he said, “I will pin David to the wall!” But David escaped his presence twice.

³³ Then Saul ^(A)cast a spear at him to ^[a]kill him, ^(B)by which Jonathan knew that it was determined by his father to kill David.

^39 (A)Therefore they sought again to seize Him, but He escaped out of their hand.

⁵⁹ Then ^(A)they took up stones to throw at Him; but Jesus hid Himself and went out of the temple, ^(B)going^[a] through the midst of them, and so passed by.

³⁰ Then ^(A)passing through the midst of them, He went His way.

⁹ Now ^(A)the distressing spirit from the Lord came upon Saul as he sat in his house with his spear in his hand. And David was playing music with his hand. ¹⁰ Then Saul sought to pin David to the wall with the spear, but he slipped away from Saul’s presence; and he drove the spear into the wall. So David fled and escaped that night.
