⁵⁴ And David took the head of the Philistine and brought it to Jerusalem, but he put his armor in his tent.

⁷ Then you shall answer them that ^(A)the waters of the Jordan were cut off before the ark of the covenant of the Lord; when it crossed over the Jordan, the waters of the Jordan were cut off. And these stones shall be for ^(B)a memorial to the children of Israel forever.”

⁸ And the children of Israel did so, just as Joshua commanded, and took up twelve stones from the midst of the Jordan, as the Lord had spoken to Joshua, according to the number of the tribes of the children of Israel, and carried them over with them to the place where they lodged, and laid them down there.

³³ And Moses said to Aaron, ^(A)“Take a pot and put an omer of manna in it, and lay it up before the Lord, to be kept for your generations.”

⁹ So the priest said, “The sword of Goliath the Philistine, whom you killed in ^(A)the Valley of Elah, ^(B)there it is, wrapped in a cloth behind the ephod. If you will take that, take it. For there is no other except that one here.”

And David said, “There is none like it; give it to me.”
