⁵⁴ And David took ^(A)the head of the Philistine ^(B)and brought it to Jerusalem, but he put his armor in his tent.

⁷ then you shall tell them that ^(A)the waters of the Jordan were cut off before the ark of the covenant of the Lord. When it passed over the Jordan, the waters of the Jordan were cut off. So these stones shall be to the people of Israel ^(B)a memorial forever.”

⁸ And the people of Israel did just as Joshua commanded and took up twelve stones out of the midst of the Jordan, according to the number of the tribes of the people of Israel, just as the Lord told Joshua. And they carried them over with them to the place where they lodged and laid them down^[a] there.

³³ And Moses said to Aaron, “Take a ^(A)jar, and put an omer of manna in it, and place it before the Lord to be kept throughout your generations.”

⁹ And the priest said, ^(A)“The sword of Goliath the Philistine, whom you struck down in ^(B)the Valley of Elah, behold, it is here wrapped in a cloth behind the ephod. If you will take that, take it, for there is none but that here.” And David said, “There is none like that; give it to me.”
